KEARNEY — Making art and anonymously funding art have an important aspect in common: it’s lonely.
“Sometimes, philanthropy is solitary, just as (the making) of visual art is a solitary endeavor,” said Audrey Kauders, director of the Museum of Nebraska Art. “There’s an empowerment when you realize that you’re not the only one.”
