KEARNEY - The Let Congress Vote Ambulance will make a stop in Kearney to highlight the urgency of getting health care reform passed.

The educational workshop, which will take place from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Frank House, 2010 University Drive, will discuss how to become a part of the effort to help pass health care reform.

Attendees will hear doctors, faith leaders and directors of the state advocacy organizations Change That Works Nebraska and the Nebraska Appleseed speaking on the status of the health care reform bills.

Attendees will also be informed about the urgency for health care reform in Nebraska and will be trained in actions they can take on their own and in their own communities to help pass health care reform.

The event is free of charge, and light refreshments will be served.

Send an RSVP to the Let Congress Vote Facebook page or email Christa.Yoakum@ChangeThatWorks.net or sbennettdpm@charter.net.
