COLUMBUS — Nebraska Public Power District will take rate hikes in 2013 that will be 4 percent to 6 percent for residential customers, said Mark Becker, media relations specialist.

The increase will average 3.75 percent figure for all eight of NPPD’s retail categories if the NPPD Board of Directors approves the rate hike.
