KEARNEY— Ten Thousand Villages, the shop at 2119 Central Ave. that sells merchandise made in Third World countries, will close its doors in mid-February.
“The costs of running the store and the great rise of online sales are hurting us,” Sandy Randall, the manager, said Friday. “We’re in one of the smallest communities for Ten Thousand Villages nationwide. Today, Ten Thousand Villages wouldn’t even open here.”
