KEARNEY — A Kearney man was cited for allegedly failing to yield the right of way after his vehicle collided with a day-care van in north Kearney Tuesday morning.

Roy Hulsey, 80, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu east on Fourth Avenue when he collided in the 56th Street intersection with a 1997 Ford Club Wagon van driven by Sarah Bender, 23, of Kearney. The van, owned by Good Samaritan Community Daycare, was loaded with an unlisted number of school-age children on their way to school.
