Abortion also can harm the mother

A recent report about a woman alleging medical malpractice after abortion really got my attention. The woman had an abortion at Lincoln's Planned Parenthood.

Everyone talks about the death of the unborn. We too often overlook the mother who faces emotional and sometimes life altering physical trauma. Perhaps those groups who claim to be fighting for women should look into the trauma abortion leaves with the mother. Women who have had an abortion are more likely to be depressed, commit suicide, have cancer and be infertile. Oh yes, and this poor woman nearly died.

Where is the outrage from the feminist left? They want the right to abortion but who is holding the abortionist accountable? If this issue is really about what is best for women, then where is the outrage?

People are ready to throw the football player in the klink for life for killing dogs. Who is up in arms about the millions of women who have been damaged by doctors performing an abortion?

Our nation has millions of walking wounded, the women who did what seemed best at the time. They won't sue because they don't want anyone to know.

Have you seen the commercials urging you to call 1-800-BAD-DRUG? How many women might join a class action lawsuit against Planned Parenthood?

Who is looking into this particular event from the state? Will the doctor's license be suspended? Will peers even review his actions? Did he even offer an apology?

Where is the outrage?
