November 26, 2019

 

Pastor Mitch Ivey provided the

Invocation. Council members led

the audience in the Pledge of Alle-

giance. Mayor Clouse announced

that in accordance with Section

84-1412 of the Nebraska Revised

Statutes, a current copy of the

Open Meetings Act is available for

review and is posted on the wall of

the Council Chambers. Due to im-

pending severe winter weather,

Stanley A. Clouse, President of the

Council, called a regular meeting of

the City Council to order on No-

vember 26, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. The

following Council Members re-

sponding to roll call: Bruce Lear,

Tami James Moore, and Jonathan

Nikkila. Absent: Randy Busch-

koetter. City Clerk recorded the

minutes. Administrative personnel

were also present. Notice of the

meeting had been given according

to law; regarding the time change

due to impending inclement

weather. Emergency Notices were

posted at City Hall, Fire Station #1,

the Law Enforcement Center and

the Kearney Public Library on No-

vember 25, 2019 regarding the time

change of the meeting. In addition,

members of local media outlets

were notified and a notice was

posted on social networks on No-

vember 25, 2019.

There was no Oral Communica-

tions.

There was no Unfinished Busi-

ness.

1. On November 26, 2019, City

Council postponed until December

10, 2019 the public hearing to re-

ceive input from the public with re-
