a public hearing will be held by the

Buffalo County Planning & Zoning

Commission will hold a public

hearing on Thursday, June 20,

2019, at 7:00 o’clock P.M. at the

Buffalo County Justice Center, lo-

cated at 1512 Central Ave., Kear-

ney, Nebraska. (Please note the

temporary location change. All at-

tendees will be required to pass

The purpose of the hearing is to

The Village of Pleasanton antici-

pates the award of a contract for

Engineering Services to assist them

with the evaluation of their streets

due to the damage incurred from

the March 2019 flooding event, and

is requesting an expression of in-

terest and a request of qualifica-

tions from your firm.

The selected Engineer will be re-

quired to assist the Village with the

project, from the early stages of

planning, cost estimates, evaluat-

ing alternatives, design, bidding,

and construction observation ser-

vices.

Any interested firms should sub-

mit, in writing, their statement of

qualifications. The selection of a

PROJECT ENGINEER will be ac-

cording to the following criteria:

1. Technical expertise of the firm

in connection with the type of ser-

vices to be provided and the com-

plexity of the project.

2. Past record of performance on

engineering contracts with other

clients including quality of work,

timeliness and cost control. Include

examples of past projects of a sim-

ilar nature and a contact person

with a phone number for all proj-

ects.

3. Capacity of the firm to perform

the work. Include a project team for

this specific job and qualifications

of all team members.

4. Proposed time frame of the

project, taking into consideration

the current workload of the firm.

The weighing factors for the eval-

uation of the selection criteria are

as follows:

1. Technical Expertise - 40

2. Past Record of

Performance - 35

3. Firm Capacity - 35

4. Time Frame - 40

TOTAL - 150

Elaborate and expensive presen-

tation aids are not necessary nor

encouraged.

The Village will evaluate all sub-

mittals and will require the top

qualified firm to meet the Village

Board for the purpose of contract

negotiations for a fixed price or not

to exceed contract. Cost and per-

centage of cost contracts are not

allowed.
