fication shall be recognized or ac-

qualifying or modifying any provi-

sion of the specifications in any

qualifying bid and may be rejected

by the City Council as not respon-

REQUEST FOR GRANT

ADMINISTRATION SERVICES

 

The City of Kearney is requesting

proposals for grant administration

services to assist with a project

funded with Community Develop-

ment Block Grant (CDBG) funds

through the Nebraska Department

of Economic Development (NDED).

The City of Kearney was recently

awarded Comprehensive Develop-

ment, Year 2 funding to complete

sidewalk and ADA ramp improve-

ments within a neighborhood in

central Kearney. The anticipated

timeframe for services is January

2019 through November 2020.

The selected consultant must

currently be CDBG Certified and

will work with the City to ensure

compliance with CDBG program

requirements. Activities will include,

but are not limited to, recordkeep-

ing, project status and final project

reporting, preparation of drawdown

requests, risk analysis and compli-

ance monitoring, and other activi-

ties required under the state of Ne-

braska's CDBG program.

Proposals to the City of Kearney

should include the minimum infor-

mation outlined below:

• Experience with NDED's CDBG

program;

• Description of past grant ad-

five years; and

• Cost of services.

portion of 340th Road as set forth

in Resolution #2018-044, and
