KEARNEY — Heather Bowen, KG Langdon and Jean Strazar, board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, were recognized by Encounter Telehealth for the AANP’s National Nurse Practitioner Week November 12-18. Bowen, Langdon and Strazar are providers at Encounter Telehealth Clinic in Kearney.

There are more than 200,000 nurse practitioners in the United States, and approximately 9,000 of them are board certified in psychiatric mental health.

Encounter Telehealth brings mental health services to rural communities through a video-conferencing platform.

The ability to quickly and easily schedule appointments with these providers through the Encounter Telehealth Clinic has helped more patients in Nebraska receive the mental healthcare they need and deserve.
