KEARNEY — Students will explore a broad range of careers in fields including construction, manufacturing, health sciences, human services, education, transportation, legal and law enforcement services, sales and marketing and entrepreneurship, during the 2019 Career Exploration Day.
The event will be 9 a.m.-noon Sept. 18 at the National Guard Armory, 5710 Airport Road in Kearney.
More than 60 area high schools have been invited to attend, and all proceeds will support the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce Student Leader Scholarship Fund.
Cost for businesses and colleges to participate is $35, which includes one 6-foot to 8-foot table with two chairs. Additional tables are $5.
