LINCOLN — The Kearney Runza Restaurant at 325 W. 39th St. received the Outstanding Store Culture title at the company’s awards celebration.
To earn the Outstanding Store Culture title, a store must attain high scores on the employee satisfaction survey, achieve a turnover rate at or below company average, promote employees, coordinate an employee social event, and submit an essay. The store received a recognition plaque and funds to plan an additional social.
“Having the vision to create an amazing culture is one of the most important things management team members can do for their store,” said Donald Everett Jr., president of Runza National.
Runza operates and franchises 85 restaurants in Nebraska, Lawrence, Kan., Loveland, Colo., and Council Bluffs and Clarinda, Iowa.
