HelpCare Clinic

The HelpCare Clinic, located at 3015 Avenue A, celebrated its third anniversary April 29. As of Oct. 1, it will close on Mondays, but keep its regular hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

KEARNEY — HelpCare Clinic has welcomed four newcomers to its board of directors.

They are Julie Schmidt, an R.N. at Kearney County Health Services; Adrienne Olson, an R.N. at Kearney Regional Medical Center; Arica Zambrano of the Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska, and Patrick Lee of the Buffalo County Attorney’s Office.

HelpCare Clinic is guided by a 13-member board of directors who serve three-year terms.

The nonprofit clinic serves uninsured, low-income individuals who are cared for by paid and volunteer medical providers.
