KEARNEY — Anne Boyd Bennett, 78, of Holdrege died Thursday, June 18, 2020, at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney.
Celebration of life service is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege with the Rev. Ted Carnahan officiating. Interment will be held in the Prairie Home Cemetery at Holdrege following the services. Anne’s funeral services will be livestreamed via the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home Facebook page.
Due to health concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, current CDC and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services guidelines for faith-based services will be followed. The Bennett family sincerely encourages each person to make their decision whether to attend Anne’s services based on the best interest of their health.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Anne was born July 5, 1941, at Yonkers, N.Y., to Harry and Elizabeth (Boyd) Bernsohn.
She married Vincent Bennett on June 15, 1963, at Yonkers.
Survivors include her husband, Vincent Bennett of Holdrege; daughters, Stephanie Hemmer of Ord, Christine Thorne of Robbinsville, N.J., and Patricia Terech of Palm City, Fla.; four grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.
