KEARNEY — Barry Robinson, 67, of Kearney died Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at CHI Health Good Samaritan.

He was born March 16, 1952, in Kearney to Jesse and Virginia (Ogg) Robinson. He grew up in Kearney and attended Kearney schools.

He was united in marriage to Dorothy Bacon in Kearney and to this union were born Michael and Timothy.

Barry worked over the many years for the city of Kearney, Buffalo County Roads, Kearney Foundry and Irrigation and Gibbins Well Drilling. He also was self-employed as a furniture restorer and trader.

He frequently volunteered at the Jubilee Center. He was a familiar face to many as he loved bicycling around Kearney. In later years, he was busy with his garden.

He is survived by his son, Michael; and brothers, Gary and Royal.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Virginia Robinson; son, Timothy; and brothers, Roger and Larry.

Barry was a kind and gentle man, and he gifted his body for organ donations, after which his remains were cremated.

There were no services.
