KEARNEY — Terry W. Liesinger, 76, of Kearney died Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at Good Samaritan Center St. John’s in Kearney.
Memorial service is 10:30 a.m. Monday at Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services with the Rev. Dean Pofahl officiating. Terry would want everyone to dress casual or wear Husker clothing for the service.
There will be no visitation.
Terry was born April 25, 1943, to Wilbur and Charolette (Shiers) Liesinger in Kearney. Terry graduated from Gibbon High School in 1961.
He married Sandra Holstein in March 1963 in Kearney. To this union one son, Scott Liesinger, was born. They later divorced.
Terry worked as an electrician for Walters Heiliger Electric and Kelly Electric in Kearney. He later owned and operated T&J Electric in Kearney. Terry also worked at Apple Market for a number of years and then Lewis Feedlot driving truck. Terry enjoyed fishing at Harlan County Lake, watching sports, especially Husker football, and duck hunting.
Survivors include his brother, Mark Liesinger and wife Lisa of Kearney; sisters, Deb Vavra and husband Mick of Kearney, Cheyrl Beck and husband Terry of Branson, Mo.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents and son Scott Liesinger.
Memorials are suggested to Make A Wish Foundation and AseraCare Hospice.
