BOULDER, Colo. — The University of Nebraska at Kearney track and field team had 19 top-10 finishes on Saturday in Boulder, Colo.
The two-day meet began Friday with several field events. UNK also had a small contingent at the Friends U. Distance Carnival on Friday night in Kansas.
UNK was first and second in the men’s shot put. Senior Jacob Bartling had a toss of 57 feet, 6 1/2 inches, while junior Tanner Barth had an effort of 55-3.75.
Junior Cassidy McIntire paced a 22-person field in the women’s 100-meter dash by running a time of 12.31 seconds.
Senior Mackenzie Crowder put her name on the national list for the second time this spring with a toss of 46-0.75 in the shot for a fourth-place finish.
On the track, Abie Rebekah Roh ran the eighth fastest time in Loper lore in the 400-meter (57.25) for a sixth-place finish.
